Add a watermark to your photos
Photos posted online are easy to save and reuse. For artwork, product photos, property listings and anything else that should carry its source, a name or logo watermark discourages reuse without permission and tells people where the photo came from.
Add a watermarkHow should I add a watermark?
| Text | Your name, website or a © notice |
|---|---|
| Logo | A PNG with a transparent background works best |
| Opacity | 40–70% stays visible without hiding the photo |
| Position | A corner, or repeat all over (diagonal) |
How to make it
- Open the Watermark tool with the button above. It's set to the bottom right at 60% opacity.
- Type your text or pick a logo image, then set the size and position.
- Add several photos, process them in one go and download a ZIP.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I make the watermark hard to remove?
- Choose "Repeat all over (diagonal)" as the position. The text repeats across the whole photo, so it can't simply be cropped or erased.
- Is my original photo left untouched?
- Yes. The watermark only goes on the new file you download, and processing happens in your browser, so your photos aren't uploaded to a server.
