Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG
By default, iPhones save photos in HEIC format. The files are small, but some Windows programs, Android phones and many website upload forms can't open them. Converted to JPG, they open everywhere, and the conversion happens in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded to a server.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Can my iPhone take JPGs in the first place?
- Yes. In Settings > Camera > Formats, choose "Most Compatible" and new photos are saved as JPG. Use this tool for the photos you've already taken.
- Does converting lower the quality?
- At the default 92% quality the difference is hard to see. Files may get a little bigger; to shrink them, use Compress Image after converting.
