Passport Photo Maker

Crop your face to passport, resident ID or resume sizes and change the background (laid out for 4×6 printing)

What is Passport Photo Maker?

The passport photo maker automatically finds your face and crops it to standard sizes such as passport and resident ID (3.5×4.5cm) or half-size ID (3×4cm), swaps the background for white or another color, and saves at 300 DPI. You can also lay out several photos on 4×6 photo paper to print straight at a photo shop.

You can change the background to white, light sky blue or light gray, or keep the original. For output, choose a single photo or multiple photos laid out on 4×6 photo paper.

How to use

  1. Upload a photo taken facing the camera.
  2. Choose the size (passport, half-size ID, business card, US visa), background color and output type.
  3. Click "Passport Photo Maker", then download the result to submit or print.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is a passport photo in each country?
It depends on the country. Korea, Japan, the UK and most of the EU use 3.5cm wide × 4.5cm tall (413×531 pixels at 300 DPI); the US uses 2×2 inches (about 600×600 pixels). This tool supports both sizes. Check the issuing authority for the final rules.
Can I print them like at a photo studio?
Choose "Multiple on 4×6 photo paper" as the output to lay out several photos on one 4×6 print, ready to print at a convenience store or photo shop printing service.
